Call for Winter & Holiday Art

Consignment opportunity – call for Winter seasonal and holiday art – deadline Oct. 9. Event dates Nov. 11 – Dec. 17, 2022 at Paint Creek Center For The Arts

The Holiday Art Market is PCCA’s final fundraiser each year and is kicking off on November 11th with the annual silent auction (artwork from the 2022 Art & Apples Festival artists and gift baskets from local businesses). PCCA is actively seeking late fall, winter and holiday fine art and fine craft in the following mediums:

  • Glasswork (**ornaments**, suncatchers, **pumpkins/gourds**)
  • Small original artwork (20″x20″ or smaller)
  • Candles
  • Soaps
  • Jewelry
  • Handmade art supplies (ceramic paint tools, aprons, supply bags)
  • Seasonal fabric home décor (pillows, table runners, quilts, hand towels) and stuffed animals
  • Custom wreaths
  • Woodwork
  • Cards and card sets

All artwork is considered with care to previous sales history and shopping demographics for the art center and Rochester/Rochester Hills area.

The Art Market and Art Market are contracted, retail consignment opportunities, reserved for Michigan-resident artists creating work in a variety of mediums. Artists set the retail price tag and receive 70% on sales (if PCCA Members, $30/365 days) or 60% (if non-members). Membership is not required. Payments to artists are issued by check or direct deposit monthly for sales made the month prior (sales for November paid in December, sales in December paid in January). PCCA uses our consignment cut to cover the display, staff hours and sales tax. Artists are not required to work the Holiday Art Market or make sales. Other opportunities may be available for artists interested in participating in art-making demonstrations or workshops at an hourly rate, please indicate this on your application.
