The only stipulations for submission is that the work must have been made as part of PCCA’s educational programming and cannot have been show in an exhibit at PCCA previously. This beloved exhibit typically includes more than than sixty pieces in a broad variety of mediums from over fifty different artists. \nThis year\, the Student & Faculty exhibit will open alongside the opening of the retail Holiday Art Market\, located on the main floor. Together\, the two events are anticipated to bring over 200 artists and art lovers into PCCA’s historic building to kick-off the holiday season in style.

Using simple supplies\, registrants will be introduced to the relaxing art of paper cutting and layering to create an original composition depicting their favorite environment. Choose one of three color combinations at checkout. An instructional demonstration will be provided\, but registrants are welcome to create their own unique landscape\, too.\n\nPaper scraps will be recycled for our future Paper Making workshop – date TBD!\n\nFinished projects will measure 8” x 10” and will be framed.\n\n\n\n\nAll supplies are included with course registration. \n\nMembers: $30 | Non-Members: $40

SUMMARY:Block Stamp Making at Michigan by the Bottle
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]1-Day Workshop for All Levels. Led by Jacey Rain Kennedy. \n\nJoin Paint Creek Center for the Arts at Michigan By The Bottle – Shelby Township for a night full of fun and creativity!\n\nThis workshop\, hosted in MBTB’s tasting room\, will show students how to make their very own block stamp out of linoleum – a soft\, rubberlike material used for linocut stamps. After carving a one-of-a-kind design in the linoleum block\, students will use a roller to cover the design in ink\, and then use the stamp to make their own prints. Students will then be able to take their created stamps with them to use again and again!
