Exploring Drawing

West Studio 407 Pine Street, Rochester

This class is for students who love to draw and would like to learn more about the media. Students will use a variety of tools including pencil, charcoal, pen, graphite conte and more while developing a sensitivity to line quality and form. Projects will focus on self expression, drawing from observation and individual imagination.

Ceramics for Young Potters

Clay Studio 407 Pine Street, Rochester

Students will learn wheel throwing skills along with hand building techniques. Projects will include; vases, bowls, cups, plates or other forms which will then be fired and glazed. Class size is limited to allow each student the use of a wheel.

Intermediate Drawing

West Studio 407 Pine Street, Rochester

This class is for students who have beginning drawing experience and are ready to create more exciting drawings through layering, value, texture, color combinations, expression and mood. Projects will be created from observation and focus on individual direction.

Studio Painting

North Studio 407 Pine Street, Rochester

This class is suitable for painters at all skill levels. Individual attention will be given to each student as they are encouraged to work at their own pace. Students will work on painting of their own choosing either from still life set-ups, photographs or other sources. Oil or acrylic paint may be used.

Basic Photography

Become skilled at color, exposure corrections and image editing/adjustments. Students need to bring a digital camera to class each week.
