This class is suitable for painters at all skill levels. Individual attention will be given to each student as they are encouraged to work at their own pace. Students will work on painting of their own choosing either from still life set-ups, photographs or other sources. Oil or acrylic paint may be used.

In this introductory class, students will learn various fiber-based construction techniques, incorporating sewing, pattern making, synthetic and natural dyeing, felting and weaving. All students will create their own unique textile pieces as they benefit from hands on demonstrations and individual instruction.

In this class students of all levels will learn to design and make hand built ceramic sculpture using various techniques. Emphasis will placed on how to sculpt from life through observation and drawing.
Art history is full of still life paintings depicting food. This class will focus on food as art. Students will learn to paint directly from observation placing emphasis on color, shape, texture and form. At the completion of each still life students will be able to eat the food they painted!
This class will introduce students with no prior painting experience, or those who would like a refresher course to the basics of working with either acrylic and/or oil paint. Emphasis will be placed on materials, color mixing, paint application and composition.
