The Reality Show
In a time when reality television, social media, and spam emails can shape our perceptions of everyday life, how do we know what’s real?
This spring, Paint Creek Center for the Arts invites you to tune in to The Reality Show. Whether you’re capturing your own reality through life’s simple pleasures, struggles, and monotonies, interpreting the reality of someone else, or exposing pop culture’s simulated perfection, we invite artists ages 16 and older to submit their artwork showcasing and defining what reality means in the modern world.
Application Deadline: February 2
Acceptance Announcements: February 14
Artwork Drop-Off: March 3 – 16
Opening Reception: March 28 from 4pm – 7pm
Final Day of Show: April 17

Deck Art 2025
Deck Art is organized by the Rochester DDA and on display throughout more than 40 businesses in downtown Rochester. In celebration of Deck Art’s 15th anniversary, PCCA will be displaying 30 decks in our gallery space! PCCA will also be displaying artwork and images from various artists affiliated with our center.

Opening: May 15 & 16 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
On Display: Through May 23 during PCCA business hours.

Community Connections
Community Connections is PCCA’s upcoming event that highlights our connection to public art throughout our local community and beyond.
Are you involved with PCCA and have created public art? Email the Artist Engagement Manager Julia at julia@pccart.org for more information on highlighting your work in this event.
Involvement includes being a current PCCA faculty member, student, Art Market artist, a 2024 Holiday Art Market artist, or an Art & Apples festival artist within the past 2 years.

Haunted: PCCA’s 3rd Annual Halloween Show
Rumor has it, Paint Creek Center for the Arts is haunted. This fall, dare to discover the truth for yourself.
Following the success and popularity of Monstrous in 2023 and Ghostly Affair in 2024, PCCA will be continuing our annual tradition of hosting an exhibition themed around Halloween with Haunted in 2025.
Whether you’re capturing the eerie essence of the nighttime forest, or highlighting the creatures that lurk in the shadows, Michigan artists are invited to submit their work for Haunted, set to open on September 26th. Join us as we fill the gallery with art that will possess your imagination this Halloween season.

2025 Student & Faculty Exhibition
Paint Creek Center for the Arts’ annual show highlighting our students, as well as the artists who instruct them.
There is no application fee. To be considered for jurying, artists must have either taught or participated in a class or workshop at PCCA in 2025. All PCCA students will be notified via email when applications have opened.
