Featured Faculty – Lisa Brandt

Lisa Brandt is a German born and raised illustrative artist, now living and working in the metro-Detroit area. She studied graphic design at Oakland Community College and later graduated from College for Creative Studies in 2021 with a BFA in Illustration. Maintaining her studio and commission work, Lisa has also begun working on public art projects. Among her latest projects are a playable public art piano, organized by Music Shapes and Paint Creek Center for the Arts, which is now on display at the Rochester Avon Recreation Authority (RARA), and the co-conceptualization and design of a public mural for the Trolley Plaza Garage in downtown Detroit (Washington Blvd. side), led by CCS Illustration Chair, Don Kilpatrick, and Founder and Curator of the Nicole Tamer Art Gallery, Nicole George.
