Tim Tenbusch Memorial Fund
A longtime PCCA member and student, the late Tim Tenbusch was talented in many artistic mediums, but he was most passionate about pastels, a medium that utilizes pure pigment in different forms to create vivid illustrations and paintings. Tim’s dedication and zest for artmaking was highlighted in his exhibition titled Tim Tenbusch – A Retrospective, which was displayed at Paint Creek Center for the Arts from June to July of 2022. This exhibition featured 40 pieces of work that Tim had created throughout his life while raising money for his memorial fund. A virtual version of the exhibition can be seen here.
In July 2023, PCCA hosted the first pastel workshop supported by the Tim Tenbusch Memorial Fund taught by Master pastelists and professional artists. Donations to this fund will allow PCCA to continue offering high-level pastel workshops, so others may experience and appreciate the versatility of pastels.

“I was in several PCCA classes with Tim. His boundless positivity and great sense of humor always made our class times more fun, and we enjoyed seeing his great pastel paintings. I have and will continue to support the memorial fund so that he can continue to have a positive influence on other artists well into the future.”
