About the Artist
AMPT Metal Designs is the product of Aaron Carlson (Clarkston, MI). Carlson crafts each piece using light weight metal and wood- reclaimed whenever possible, and vibrant pops of color. His subject matter ranges from cute kitchen signs, such as “Fresh Market Produce” and “Life’s a Beach”, to more masculine Americana themes, such as “The Wood Shop” (bottom right) and “Detroit” (left) which depicts the city skyline over multiple layers.
