Sisters of the Brush Application

Paint Creek Center for the Arts’ (PCCA) mission is to build on our rich heritage of leading creativity in our community by providing opportunities for all to learn, create, experience and appreciate the arts.

The Sisters of the Brush Scholarship (formerly known as The Mary McCarthy Anderson Fund) helps us achieve our mission by providing funding for children K-12 to take art classes at PCCA.

PCCA is pleased to offer scholarships and reduced registration costs, thanks to donors of the following:

  • Sisters of the Brush Scholarship
  • Paint Creek Center for the Arts

Sisters of the Brush Scholarship Guidelines:

  • Scholarships are available for children K-12 and only apply to classes offered through Paint Creek Center for the Arts.
  • Priority is given to students whose families have the greatest financial need.
  • The scholarship must be used for the term issued. If the specified class is canceled for any reason, the scholarship will be valid for the immediate next term. No cash equivalents or refunds apply at any time.
  • The scholarship may not be used to pay for any additional class materials or fees. Any costs incurred beyond tuition are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
  • The scholarship is not retroactive. Tuition will not be covered for a class in which the recipient has previously enrolled.
  • Scholarships may be applied toward one (1) class per term.
  • Scholarships are not renewable and are valid only for the specified term. A student may re-apply for the scholarship each term.
  • Scholarship students who fail to attend class may not be considered for future scholarships at PCCA.
  • Students whose applications are accepted will be notified at least seven (7) days prior to the start of a class.
